Boston Sports and Shoulder Center installed the Sonimage HS1 compact ultrasound system and the Sonimage MX1 portable ultrasound system at its five practices in the Boston metropolitan area.
Three things to know:
1. The imaging devices are developed by Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas.
2. BSSC is using the systems to bolster its regenerative medicine portfolio and provide ultrasound-guided injections for orthopedic conditions of the hip and shoulder.
3. The Sonimage devices enable physicians to assess anatomy in real-time and accurately predict where to place the injection by capturing the image on the ultrasound system.
