Los Angeles-based FullRange Spine & Ortho began offering regenerative treatments using a patient's own stem cells.
The practice is using bone marrow aspirate concentrate, a nonsurgical procedure that takes 45 to 60 minutes, to treat injuries, according to a Dec. 20 news release.
The procedure takes bone marrow from a patient's hip, and bone marrow aspirate is concentrated in a centrifuge. Once concentrated, the stem cells are injected into the injury site for restoration, the release said.
