LifeNet Health opened a regenerative medicine logistics and distribution facility in Indianapolis on Oct. 15.
Three things to know:
1. LifeNet expects to distribute 700,000 tissue implants this year, for use in multiple specialties including orthopedics and neurosurgery.
2. The new 70,000-square-foot center aims to support the speedy delivery of cells used in biomedical research.
3. It features monitoring and security systems to ensure that tissues and cells are maintained in their ideal conditions.
