The FDA cleared EmCyte's Progenikine Concentrating System for adipose lipoplasty for procedures in several specialties including neurosurgery and orthopedics.
Three things to know:
1. Progenikine is intended for extraction and centrifugal preparation of adipose concentrate at the point of care.
2. The system can completely remove oil contaminants and residue to obtain a concentrated adipose sample.
3. EmCyte is headquartered in Fort Myers, Fla., and develops systems for autologous regenerative biologics.
