Twin Falls, Idaho-based St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center held a ribbon cutting for its new medical plaza Feb. 21, according to MagicValley.com. Medical Plaza 2 will feature outpatient medical imaging services.

Here are five things to know:

1. Medical Plaza 2 is nearly 58,000-square-feet and is located on St. Luke's campus next to the hospital's outpatient surgery center, which opened in late 2016.

2. The two-story building will house about 12 clinics, featuring physical therapy and pain management services in addition to medical imaging.

3. The plaza opens to patients March 5. Existing clinic hours will not be interrupted during the transition to the new building.

4. In the new building, offices in similar specialties are grouped into pods. The medical plaza has self-check-in kiosks for patients, a first for St. Luke's Magic Valley.

5. According to St. Luke's Magic Valley physician services administrator Debbie Kytle, the hospital recruits 20 providers each year.
