CurveBeam received FDA 510(k) clearance for its LineUP Multi-extremity weight-bearing CT system.
Here are three things to know.
1. The system allows users to visualize 3D bone detail of the lower extremities while the patient is standing; patient anatomy can be assessed in the "weight bearing" or "load bearing" position.
2. The LineUP can perform bilateral scans from below the heel to above the knee. Accessories allow for scanning of the hand, wrist and elbow as well.
3. The system can be plugged into a standard wall outlet and has minimal shielding requirements.
