Surgeons complete 500th case with Alevio's SiCure Sacroiliac Fusion System: 4 highlights

MIS

Alevio reported surgeons have completed the 500th case using its SiCure Sacroiliac Joint Fusion System.

Here are four highlights:

1. A second-generation sacroiliac joint fusion system, the SiCure features uniquely designed titanium screws.

2. Surgeons may implant the SiCure via a lateral or posterior approach in patients undergoing sacroiliac joint fusion for sacroiliac joint disruption, degenerative sacroiliitis and other conditions.

3. Alevio reports they have not seen any complications, revisions or infections associated with the SiCure.

4. Later in 2017, Alevio will introduce two new anatomical approaches for the SiCure.
