DePuy Synthes unveiled its PUREVUE Visualization System for minimally invasive endoscopic surgery.
Here are five things to know:
1. The imaging platform integrates a light source, an image processor and local image management to offer a smaller operating room footprint.
2. The PUREVUE Visualization System has touch-screen navigation and personalized setting capabilities.
3. The system's autoclavable camera head includes a sensor specifically for endoscopy, which offers HD images.
4. DePuy Synthes also designed the imaging system with several monitor options, such as the ultra-high-definition 4K.
5. The company is introducing the new system at the Orthopaedic Summit 2017: Evolving Techniques, Dec. 6 to Dec. 9 in Las Vegas.
