Here are seven hospitals and surgery centers who installed minimally invasive robotic systems.
1. Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, Wash., will offer robotic-assisted surgery beginning in September.
2. Johnston, Colo.-based Arete Surgical Center completed its first spine procedure with the Mazor Robotics Renaissance system.
3. Sheridan (Wyo.) Memorial Hospital installed Globus Medical's ExcelsiusGPS for minimally invasive spine surgery.
4. Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel became the first in the Tampa Bay area to adopt Globus Medical's ExcelsiusGPS for its neurospine program.
5. Mercy Health Lorain (Ohio) Hospital installed Stryker's SpineMap 3D Software for spinal surgery.
6. New Lenox, Ill.-based Silver Cross Hospital Midwest Institute for Robotic Surgery is the first hospital in the surrounding area to install a robotic surgery system for spine surgery.
7. Hendersonville, N.C.-based Park Ridge Health is the first hospital in the region to offer the Mazor X Robotic Guidance System for spine surgery.
