Karlsruhe, Germany-based joimax presented the new combined 4K resolution camera and LED light source system and its fully integrated documentation and command system at the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting.
"Our new 4K LED Visualization Systems are the next important components of our steadily growing endoscopic product portfolio," said Founder and CEO Wolfgang Ries. "These developments demonstrate our continued leading position in the fast-growing endoscopic spine surgery market worldwide."
The system includes the Vitegra Docu and Command, which has flexible control options including a wireless tablet PC, live video streaming and live voice command to control in-surgery images and videos as well as video review during the procedure. Vitegra also includes a command mode to control all other devices within the joimax endoscopic tower.
The company is planning a limited market launch in the U.S. and Europe during the second quarter.
