Exactech announced that it will feature its ExactechGPS Guided Personalized Surgery solution at the 15th Annual Congress of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in London, United Kingdom. This is the solution's first international introduction.
Here are three things to know:
1. ExactechGPS is an advanced surgical solution that provides orthopedic surgeons with real-time data and imaging to ensure accuracy and precision during total knee arthroplasty. The patient-specific solution gives surgeons more control during TKA.
2. ExactechGPS was launched in the U.S. at the 2014 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting in New Orleans. It was launched to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Exactech Knee system.
3. The company will also allow clinicians to see live demonstrations of ExactechGPS and to gain hands-on experience.
