Synthes acquired the privately-owned Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based surgical power tools manufacturer Anspach, according to a company news release.
Under the agreement, Synthes has committed to growing Anspach facilities, including the product development and manufacturing capabilities. While Anspach will remain in Florida, Synthes will distribute the products worldwide.
The purchase price of Anspach is not disclosed.
