The Orthopaedic Institute at the Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa., is partnering with Universal Research Solutions, also know as Outcomes Based Electronic Research Database.
Here are four things to know:
1. Geisinger will use OBERD software for outcomes data collection, registries and multi-center studies.
2. They will also be using OBERD's clinical suite and education software.
3. The software will allow for real-time scoring and reporting of the collected data, which will enable immediate evaluation of outcomes.
4. OBERD will initially be used to collect data from orthopedic patients, with the intention to expand into other specialties.
