David Pillsbury left his role as Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute's CEO on Nov. 30, 2016, the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported.

1. Mr. Pillsbury joined the company as president in 2015.
2. The company reported Mr. Pillsbury helped develop the new headquarters as well as an ambulatory surgery center, both located in Tampa.
3. Laser Spine Institute appointed Roger C. Cary the new CEO and president, based on a company statement sent to Tampa Bay Business Journal.
4. Equipped with more than three decades of healthcare experience, Mr. Cary previously served as COO for Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Boca Raton, Fla.
5. Mr. Cary will begin his new role at Laser Spine Institute's Tampa headquarters on Dec. 5, 2016.
6. He earned his master's degree in healthcare administration from Loma Linda (Calif.) University.
7. Laser Spine Institute operates seven surgery centers in Tampa; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Philadelphia; Oklahoma City; Cleveland; St. Louis and Cincinnati.
