Phoenix-based MemReg changed its name to ORHub in order to reflect company transformation.
Here are four things to know:
1. MemReg is cloud-based healthcare software that lowers costs and improves surgical care outcomes.
2. After MemReg and ORHub merged in late June 2016, the company has worked to raise its capital by conducting early alpha pilots and improving shareholder liquidity.
3. CEO Colt Melby said: "Our official name change…signifies the final step in the company's transformation into a publicly traded software company focused on development and commercialization of productivity and information software for surgical operations."
4. ORHub reports that healthcare companies compromise over 17 percent of GDP at over $3 trillion a year.
