East Stroudsburg Pa.-based Mountain Valley Orthopedics has opened a new facility at Pike County's Dingmans Medical Center, according to the Pocono Record.
Here are six things to know:
1. Although Mountain Valley already had patients in Pike County, the new office shortens their commute.
2. The practice specializes in bone, joint and muscle injuries.
3. Mountain Valley's Tobyhanna office opened in 1995 and its East Stroudsburg office recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. A new Tannersville facility opened in the last few months, expanding the practice's diagnostic imaging abilities.
4. The Dingmans Medical Center provides x-ray imaging, patient consultations and appointment scheduling for any Mountain Valley facility.
5. Mountain Valley sees patients from other healthcare providers by appointment, as well.
6. Laszlo Szollas, MD, an anesthesiologist and pain management physician joined the growing practice in September 2016.
