2. Data pertaining to 506 staff surgeons across 10 academic and non-academic affiliated hospitals yielded 27,792 patient-generated ratings and reviews for 1,404 orthopedists.
3. Composite orthopedic surgeon rating was 4.1 out of 5.
4. No physician-rating site contained all features of the Consensus Core.
5. Surgeons are marketed and promoted better on institution-produced sites, according to the report.
