AJRR publishes 1st patient annual report on hip, knee replacements: 4 things to know

The American Joint Replacement Registry unveiled its "2016 Report to the Public About Hip and Knee Replacements."

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The report offers the first-ever patient summary of clinical data gathered in the annual report.

 

2. The AJRR published the report to inform the pubic about U.S. hip and knee replacements.

 

3. The registry takes patient perspective into account via its Public Advisory Board, which gives the public a say in the Registry's data collection, reporting and utilization activities.

 

4. AJRR's more than 1,000 participating institutions and leading consumer groups can access the report on the AJRR website.
