Doximity released a new research study on the 2017 labor market for physicians, examining data for 15 specialists practicing in 20 large metropolitan areas.
The report gathered compensation information from 12,000 job listings and 40,000 self-reported compensation surveys. The report found physician compensation grew 5.1 percent nationally and job growth is up 164 percent in geriatrics.
