2. A third of respondents, 33 percent, said they take less than three weeks of vacation while 18 percent reported to take five or more weeks.
3. Fifty-five percent of employed and 37 percent of self-employed physicians taking three to four weeks of vacation.
4. Twelve percent of self-employed physicians take more than six weeks of vacation, compared to 4 percent of employed physicians.
5. Self-employed physicians (9 percent) also take less than one week of vacation time as more often than employed physicians (4 percent).
