Huntsville, Ala.-based The Orthopaedic Center plans to open a new location in Athens, Ala., DecaturDaily.com reports.
Here are three things to know:
1. Surgeries will begin at the new location Sept. 19.
2. The facility will provide general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, physical therapy and spine care. The location features 18 exam rooms and two digital X-ray suites.
3. TOC and OrthoSports Athens merged Aug. 1. The combined company employs about 425 people and operates 12 locations.
