New Hanover Regional Medical Center to shift orthopedic services to $91M facility

Wilmington, N.C.-based New Hanover Regional Medical Center plans to transfer its orthopedic services to a designated orthopedic building, according to WWAY 3.

Construction on the $91 million orthopedic-focused facility began recently. The building will be on New Hanover Regional Medical Center's main campus.

The new building will accommodate for expanded orthopedic, trauma, specialty surgery and spine services. The hospital expects the new building to be complete in 2019.
