Catholic Health's physician network Buffalo, N.Y.-based Trinity Medical WNY added Buffalo Orthopaedic Group, according to a report in Buffalo Business First.
Five things to know:
1. Buffalo Orthopaedic Group's physician partners as well as several advanced practice providers and staff members have joined Trinity Medical WNY and will keep their offices in Williamsville and Hamburg, N.Y., open. The offices will be re-named Trinity Medical Orthopedics.
2. Trinity Medical's physician provider network has grown to include more than 40 providers and 16 office locations after this most recent acquisition.
3. Buffalo Orthopaedic Group has general orthopedic services, sports medicine and urgent care, which will be transferred to Trinity Medical. The partners expect full integration over the next few months.
4. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
5. Last week, a Buffalo Orthopaedic Group surgeon opted to join Excelsior Orthopaedics in Buffalo instead of moving with the other partners to Trinity Medical WNY.
