Indiana orthopedic group to open 8th location, will offer robotic surgery

Muncie-based Central Indiana Orthopedics will open a center in Fishers, Ind., June 1, You Are Current reports.

The 48,000-square-foot facility, including a surgery center and an urgent care clinic, will perform the full spectrum of spine and orthopedic care.

The center will be CIO's eighth location, and include Stryker's Mako robot for partial and total joint replacements.

Indianapolis-based Northwest Radiology Imaging Center will operate a suite in the center.

CIO has 26 physicians, including two spine surgeons, according to its website.
