8 orthopedic centers recently opened or announced

Becker's Spine Review has reported on eight orthopedic centers opened or announced in the past month:

1. Philadelphia-based Premier Orthopedics and Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center opened a $6.7 million surgery center in King of Prussia, Pa.

2. Idaho Falls, Idaho-based Summit Orthopaedics broke ground on a 19,000-square-foot facility.

3. Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health is developing a $17 million outpatient orthopedic surgery center that will perform about 5,000 cases annually.

4. UPMC East in Monroeville, Pa., opened its 2,520-square-foot multispecialty clinic.

5. Nashville, Tenn.-based 7 Springs Orthopedics opened its 10th clinic in partnership with Southern Tennessee Regional Health System-Winchester.

6. Northeast Orthopedic Sports Clinic & Physical Therapy opened a fifth location in Centre, Ala.

7. Coastal Orthopedics is planning a medical center and headquarters in Bradenton, Fla.

8. Flagstaff (Ariz.) Bone & Joint is building a medical office adjacent to its ASC set to open in fall 2021.
