Norwood, Ohio-based Mayfield Brain & Spine is seeking a CEO after former CEO Mike Farrington left the practice for an undisclosed healthcare opportunity in New Jersey on Jan. 22, Hunt Scanlon Media reports.
The practice is seeking candidates with at least 10 years of senior leadership experience at a large surgical practice. It will also consider hospital executives with "leadership experience managing or interacting and negotiating with large physician group practices," according to Hartz Search, a healthcare executive recruiting firm enlisted by Mayfield Brain & Spine.
Prospects should have a firm understanding of the healthcare industry, including operations, reimbursement, competitive forces and implications of proposed changes.
Mayfield Brain & Spine comprises 19 neurosurgeons and more than 210 employees. The group serves patients across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
