Olympia (Wash.) Orthopaedic Associates will open a spine center, according to an Aug. 19 announcement in Thurston Talk.
The center broke ground in 2019, and is expected to open by the end of August. It was built as the team grew.
"Basically, the growth of our group outpaced our physical capacity to house everybody in our office building," Ryan Halpin, MD, said. "We needed more space, so we decided to embark on this project and combine our spine building with a place to have our administration."
The center will have two neurosurgeons, several spine surgeons, a physiatrist and a pain anesthesiologist on staff. Services will focus on surgical and non surgical spine care from kyphoplasty to injection therapies.
