Dan Drawbaugh is CEO of The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colo.

1. Mr. Drawbaugh became CEO in 2015. Before that, he spent 31 years working at UPMC, according to his LinkedIn page. His last role at UPMC was chief information officer.
2. At The Steadman Clinic, Mr. Drawbaugh oversaw several growth initiatives including partnerships with Varsity Healthcare Partners and Aspen (Colo.) Valley Hospital. Currently, he's overseeing practice's expansions in Colorado.
3. In 2018, Mr. Drawbaugh participated in a competition he referred to as "a nicer Shark Tank." He judged the second annual Medical Capital Innovation Competition, which awards money to innovators seeking to improve healthcare.
4. Mr. Drawbaugh has received multiple honors during his time at UPMC. He and his colleague Rasu Shrestha, MD, were named "Innovator of the Year" for the development of UPMC’s SingleView radiology imaging solution, and InformationWeek: Global CIO 50 recognized him as one of the top CIOs in healthcare in 2009.
5. Mr. Drawbaugh received his bachelor's degree in biomedical and electrical engineering technology from Temple University Fox School of Business in Philadelphia. He completed an MBA from Duquesne University Palumbo Donahue School of Business in Pittsburgh.
