Phoenix-based Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company acquired London-based Future Health Works, a musculoskeletal patient management platform.
Future Health Works has a suite of predictive analytics to help identify patients at a higher risk for adverse outcomes or hospital readmissions, according to a June 7 news release. Its technology will bolster HOPCo's outcomes management platform, claims analytics, clinical datasets and IT tools.
"This acquisition further accelerates HOPCo's ability to connect patients, providers and payers, thus enhancing visibility to evidence-based pathways," Bryan Wall, MD, chief medical informatics officer at HOPCo, said in the release. "All of this leads to improved outcomes and savings in a much more meaningful way than other solutions. This also helps HOPCo continue to become the global leader in musculoskeletal complex data management."
