Omaha-based OrthoNebraska, in partnership with Denver-based healthcare real estate developer NexCore Group, has opened a new orthopedic medical office in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
NexCore built the 23,000-square-foot building to suit OrthoNebraska's specific needs, including state-of-the-art exam, procedure and casting rooms and equipment and space for physical therapy, according to a Sept. 14 NexCore news release.
"Immediate access to an X-ray, expert clinical diagnosis, casting, splinting and physical therapy under one roof is critical for getting patients on the road to recovery quickly and it is rare to find in most orthopedic medical office buildings," Todd Varney, NexCore's chief development officer and managing partner, said in a Sept. 14 press release. "NexCore is honored to deliver this comprehensive orthopedic-focused facility for OrthoNebraska as a continuation of our commitment to the Omaha community."
