Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health is building a $161 million orthopedic hospital that will include a hotel, SiouxFalls.Business reported May 15.
The Sanford Orthopedic Hospital is being built at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. The hospital will be 205,000 square feet and nine stories and include a 56-room hotel on the top two stories. The hotel will connect the orthopedic hospital to the Sanford Children's Hospital castle.
Sanford is going through a request for proposal process to choose a hotel operator, according to SiouxFalls.Business.
The building is expected to open in the third quarter of 2025.
