Wysa, an artificial intelligence-guided mental health platform, was launched at three orthopedic hospitals across the country, according to an Oct. 10 news release.
The Living Well Center of Washington University in St. Louis, Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and the University of California San Francisco's orthopedic department all implemented Wysa. The AI-assisted services are available to patients at a fraction of the cost for traditional therapy.
Wysa's digital intervention for orthopedic patients was found to help reduce mental health concerns, improve physical function and pain interference, according to a study in JMIR Publications.
