OrthoIndy has opened a new surgical facility in Westfield, Ind., that will focus on same-day outpatient procedures, including fracture repair and sports medicine and arthroscopic surgeries on shoulders, knees, ankles, wrists, hands and feet, according to an April 29 report from the Towne Post Network.
Indianapolis-based OrthoIndy has been the largest orthopedic practice in the state for more than 60 years and opened its first specialty hospital in 2005.
The new facility has four operating rooms. The system now has 90 physicians across 11 locations in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
