Practice Management

Terre Haute-based Indiana Joint Replacement Institute's Naples, Fla. satellite location joined Fort Myers-based Orthopedic Center of Florida, which is part of Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co.

IJRI was founded by Michael Meneghini, MD, and he will join the leadership board of HOPCo, according to a Sept. 10 news release. Dr. Meneghini is a recognized leader in outpatient total joint replacement and has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed journal articles.

Under the partnership, only IJRI's Naples location is part of OCF, while its two Indiana offices operate separately, a spokesperson for HOPCo. said.

"This partnership is a tremendous opportunity for our Naples-based team," Dr. Meneghini said in the release. "We assembled our hand-picked experts in Naples with a singular focus on providing excellent outcomes and an elevated experience for our patients. Being part of the OCF team and the deep infrastructure of HOPCo’s proven platform undoubtedly expands and accelerates our ability to extend these benefits to the local community and to those who are making Naples a destination for their expert orthopedic care."
