Practice Management

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery and Westport, Conn.-based Stamford Health have cut the ribbon on a 10,000-square-foot regional outpatient center in Westport.

This opening marks the second collaboration between HSS and Stamford, which first established a partnership in 2016, according to a Sept. 30 press release. In 2022, the two opened HSS Sports Rehab-Westport.

The new outpatient center houses seven provider offices, 12 exam rooms and two X-ray suites with services provided by Stamford Health Radiology.

Specialists will offer care in hand and upper extremities, joint replacement, physiatry, spine and sports medicine. Later this fall, foot and ankle services will be available.

The center will also later launch HSS Orthopedics Now, which will be the second location in Connecticut to provide patients 12 years and older with quicker access to orthopedic care for sudden injuries and pain.
