Brentwood, Calif.-based Golden State Orthopedics & Spine held a Nov. 21 ribbon cutting for its newest location, according to a Nov. 28 report from The Press.
The new facility has been providing urgent care and MRI services to Brentwood residents since earlier in the year.
Golden State Orthopedics & Spine was launched Jan. 1, 2022, through the merger of three orthopedic groups: Muir Orthopaedic Specialists, OrthoNorCal and Webster Orthopedics. The merged group is one of the largest independent networks of orthopedic specialists in the area, according to the report.
During the ribbon cutting, the practice also announced a second phase of the new project, which will add 23,000 square feet and is expected to open in April 2025.
The two expansions will add 30 exam rooms, a simulated indoor turf field for sports medicine and will add physicians, nurse practitioners and physical therapists to the practice.
In the last 12 months, Golden State Orthopedics & Spine completed nearly 250,000 clinic visits as a group, as well as 16,000 MRIs, 10,000 urgent care visits and 135,000 physical therapy visits, according to the report.
