Long Island, N.Y.-based pain management physician Timothy Groth, MD, has partnered with private equity group Confluence Healthcare Partners and Skyline Investors to form a new physician management services organization.
Dr. Groth's practice offers a wide variety of services, including epidurals, nerve block and trigger point injections, radial pressure wave therapy, spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency nerve ablation, and surgical procedures such as the Intracept procedure, MILD procedure, kyphoplasty, SIJ fusion and peripheral nerve stimulation, according to a Jan. 6 press release sent to Becker's. He has 11 locations throughout New York City.
"We have evaluated over 15 interventional pain companies over the last two years and Dr. Groth and his team were exactly what we were looking for in a partner in a sector of healthcare that we believe is well positioned for the future of healthcare delivery," John Hudson, co-founder of Confluence Healthcare Partners, said in the release.
