Amir Dan Rubin will leave his position as CEO of Stanford Health Care at the end of 2015, according to The Stanford Daily.
Here are five notes:
1. Mr. Rubin is pursuing an opportunity with UnitedHealth Group's Optum as executive vice president.
2. He became CEO of Stanford Health Care in 2011.
3. During his time as CEO, Stanford Health Care ranked first among hospitals in California by U.S. News and World Report.
4. The hospital also received recognition as the most preferred hospital in the region by National Research Corporation.
5. In his new role, Mr. Rubin will work to better healthcare and make it more accessible.
