Chinese hackers breach U.S. health system to improve care — 4 things to know

U.S. officials uncovered Chinese hackers breaching Anthem earlier this year to learn about the United States' healthcare system, according to The Daily Caller.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Experts say China will use this information to improve their own healthcare system.

 

2. China implemented an initiative, "Health China 2020," with the goal of granting universal healthcare coverage to all of China's citizens.

 

3. The majority of China's middle and lower classes are dissatisfied with the level of medical care.

 

4. China's President Xi Jinspring agreed to cooperate with the United States on cyber security issues during his visit on Sept. 25.
