Birmingham, Ala.-based Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Institute installed Atlanta-based Clearwave kiosks in 2015. In just one year, the institute has shown significant workflow improvement.
Here are four highlights:
1. Andrews Sports Medicine provides approximately an average 2 minute check-in time for patients.
2. About 30 percent of Andrews Sports Medicine patients have an even less check-in time when using Clearwave’s Express check-in.
3. According to Clearwave CEO and President Gerard White, 99.7 percent of Andrews Sports Medicine’s patient volume use the kiosk.
4. Orthopedic surgeon James R. Andrews, MD, is one of the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center’s founding members.
