Through its packaged pricing program, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago is offering Canadian patients a flat fee for orthopedic services.
Here are three things to know:
1. MOR has listed the bundled payment pricing for certain services on its website.
2. Currently, there are five surgical procedures included in the package pricing: anterior cruciate ligament repair, hip arthroscopy, knee arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair (arthroscopic) and shoulder arthroscopy.
3. The flat fee for the aforementioned procedures includes surgeon, facility and anesthesia fees; supplies and implants; as well as some follow-up care.
