Kavita Manchikanti, MD, joined The Pain Management Center of Paducah (Ky) and Marion (Ill.).
Dr. Kavita Manchikanti is the daughter of renowned interventional pain physician Laxmaiah Manchikanti, MD. She is joining her father’s practice.
Dr. Manchikanti is an interventional pain management physician at the Pain Management Center of Paducah and Ambulatory Surgery Center as well as the Pain Management Center of Marion (Ill.) and Pain Care Surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, Medical Quality Improvement Community and Lexington Medical Hospital.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kativa focuses on research and presented a study titled "A Retrospective Examination of Gait Changes Following Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy in Different Age Groups." She has also been published in several medical journals.
Dr. Kativa earned her medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and fellowship in pain management at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
