Some physicians are seeing patient volume increase and more interest in preventative care.
2. Patients who were paying out-of-pocket now have insurance and now have access to more healthcare services than they would have in the past. The newly-insured patients were able to receive follow-up care and pay for additional medical services such as bloodwork.
3. While more patients are responsible for a larger portion of the bill, many patients are paying within the 90-day timeframe. But physicians are receiving non-payment from insurance companies or requests for refunds.
4. Physician offices are building the infrastructure to the assist new patients with paperwork and longer visits to make sure the patients.
