Illinois Bone & Joint Institute will add another practice to its portfolio after it acquired Gurnee, Ill.-based Smart Scan MRI. Here's what you should know.
1. The acquisition was effective September 1. It will expand the IBJI team of imaging specialists.
2. The gurnee center allows IBJI to offer 3T High-Field Wide-Bore MRI services. It will allow for musculoskeletal scans and higher-quality neurological and abdominal imaging.
3. Jeffrey Rosengarten, MD, will continue to practice out of the center.
