Cincinnati-based PatientPoint, a patient engagement platform, has purchased a digital communications network specializing in digital marketing and mobile apps.
Here's what you need to know:
1. The new acquisition is the Nashville, Tenn.-based MedCenterDisplay.
2. Together, PatientPoint and MedCenterDisplay already serve more than 1,000 hospitals across the country.
3. MedCenterDisplay will help PatientPoint reach its goal of supporting patient-physician communication, according to Chris Martini, president and chief provider officer for PatientPoint.
"Teaming with MedCenterDisplay will strengthen our ability to help hospitals in their mission to increase patient satisfaction, engagement and education," he said.
