Microsoft unveiled Skype for Business' new virtual health templates, according to ON MSFT.
Here are three things to know:
1. Designed for providers' communication needs, the templates offer new coordination methods for patients.
2. The Virtual Health Templates enable developers to create their own portals and apps that integrate with EHRs and scheduling systems.
3. Several customers and partners are already working with the new templates, such as:
• RingMD in Singapore: Using the platform to support virtual consultations
• Cambio in United Kingdom: Integrated its EMR, Cambio COSMIC, with Skype for Business
• CareFlow in West Chester, Pa.: Using the platform to connect clinical records and communications as well as embed video conferencing in clinical workflows
