Southern California Institute in Thousand Oaks added orthopedic spine surgeon Edmund Choi, MD, to its team, according to Ventura County Star.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Choi has authored over 20 published works and abstracts over the course of his career.
2. He lectures extensively on osteoporosis, pediatric and adult spine reconstruction, bone and spinal tumors and fractures at national and international conferences.
3. Dr. Choi specializes in MIS spine, management and treatment of adult and pediatric scoliosis, evaluation and treatment of cervical and lumbar disc disease and osteoporosis and vertebral compression fractures.
4. A committee member of the Scoliosis Research Society, Dr. Choi serves on the spine and trauma sections editorial review board for Orthopedics Journal.
