Back Pain Centers of America expanded its network services and will now be called Orthopedic and Back Pain Centers of America.
Here are five things to know:
1. Lines of services for patients will include orthopedic, spine and back pain subspecialties.
2. The extension is expected to meet network partners' needs and those of patients, as well.
3. Many of OBPC's network centers treat spine, knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, elbow and other joint pain.
4. Until now, OBPC's main focus has been ensuring HIPAA-compliant methods to help patients find qualified back and neck pain physicians in their area.
5. The company began accepting orthopedic extremity members to apply for a screening process in January 2017.
OBPC President Brent Wheeler said, "Now that we have streamlined our processes, it makes sense to expand our network to be able to serve patients with joint pain as well to find reputable physicians and hospitals to treat them with the most minimally invasive treatments possible."
