Nampa, Idaho-based Saltzer Medical Group has chosen Change HealthCare to handle its non-clinical operations.
Here are four things to know:
1. Saltzer has operated as part of St. Luke's Health System since 2012.
2. The agreement makes Saltzer an independent practice.
3. Change Healthcare will be in charge of Saltzer's non-clinical operations, handling the following capabilities:
- Strategic services
- Practice management services
- Revenue cycle management services
4. Saltzer hopes the agreement will allow it to wholly focus on providing care.
Saltzer President John Kaiser, MD, said, "The business of healthcare has become increasingly complex, and we realized we needed additional expertise to help us navigate today's uncertain waters."
