Kevin Marberry, MD, returned to Kirksville, Miss.-based Northeast Regional Orthopedics & Sports Medicine after two years at a multispecialty orthopedic group in Wichita, Kan., the Kirksville Daily Express reports.
Here are four things you should know:
1. Dr. Marberry is board certified in orthopedic sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
2. Dr. Marberry is the former team physician for the Mizzou Tigers.
3. He established a sports medicine program and worked on concussion management for young athletes in Kirksville. He left after four years to join a multispecialty orthopedic group in Wichita, where he focused on seeing patients with knee problems, helping them to maintain joint health and performing knee replacement surgery.
4. Dr. Marberry returns to Northeast Regional Orthopedics & Sports Medicine after two years away. He will see patients with any joint pain or musculoskeletal complaint and will assist with on-field injury management at local athletic events.
